Pros:Works well for SLI and provides full HB goodness. LED would be a nice touch but is ONLY WHITE, DOES NOT MATCH the closest white for the LEDSs on the cards, and does not retain brightness without the Gigabyte software running.
Gigabyte Sli Bridge Adapter
Cons:LED on the bridge can be dimmed with the Gigabyte software, or maybe slowbyte or gigabug software might be a better name, but when the software is not run or shutoff the LED goes back full brightness. The bridge has no manual control (physical switch of any kind like some others do) of brightness or color. For $40, this should remember at least the last setting of brightness and probably should have color. The white color of the white only LED does not come close to matching the best white possible on the cards themselves. So, it's pretty much just looks dumb and like it's not made by gigabyte. If you dim the LEDS it does look better. However, when you shut off the Gigabyte software, the LED bounces back to full brightness. It cannot remember a setting, which the cards can do but sometimes forget. The latter is forgivable, but the former would only be forgiven if I got the bridge for free with the card or MB. Just frustrated.
Gigabyte Sli Bridge 1 Slot Extruded
Overall Review:If you like white or bright white, its ok. If you run the gigabyte software all the time, it maybe ok; assuming you liked white. If you just spent ~$900 for graphics cards with colored LEDs that retain stated, it's not as ok. Especially for $40!
